"Youssef Chahine: The Restoration Project" 20 restored classics by Youssef Chahine will be screened for the first time over 10 days, from the 12th to the 22nd of September. The restoration project is done in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Chahine's passing by Misr International Films in collaboration with Egyptian and European partners to honor his legacy, giving the films a new life and bringing them back to the big screen. The screenings will be accompanied by a parallel program of workshops, lectures and talks which will be announced soon.
