Engineer Talaat, son of a rich merchant Morsy, gets pressured by his dad into marrying a poor girl, Fatma. After Fatma refuses to marry Sayed, who is poor and works for Talaat. Talaat rebels against his dad, divorces Fatma and leaves his dad's fortune, becoming friends with the son of a politician, marries his sister for power and authority.
