In the Tunisian city of Sidi Bouzid, which witnessed the incident of Mohamed Bouazizi and the outbreak of the Tunisian revolution, Ali works in selling fuel on the black market and hands most of his profits over to the police. Due to the accumulation of debts and the responsibility of taking care of his two younger sisters, he seeks to reconnect with his brother.
