Luis and his son, Esteban, cross southern Morocco in search of his daughter — gone for five months, last glimpsed at a rave deep in the desert. Their path winds from one feverish party to the next, until rumors surface of a legendary gathering near the Mauritanian border. Drawn into the scorched emptiness, with the shadow of global conflict creeping ever closer, they press on. In this vast and unforgiving landscape, father and son find themselves walking a razor’s edge between transcendence and oblivion.
