Part of Ibero-American Film Week
Zawya hosts this year’s edition of the Ibero-American Film Week, organized by the Ibero-American Embassies in Egypt starting Monday November 6 until November 18. The Ibero-American Film Week is an annual cultural event that brings together Ibero-American cinema and culture enthusiasts every year. Its main goal is to disseminate the diversity of Ibero-American film production, and it specifically targets the large number of young students studying Spanish and Portuguese at Egyptian universities, as well as the general public. This year, 13 Ibero-American countries are participating: Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay.
